Ingredients
- 8 mini croissants (1 1/2 ounces each)
- 8 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 8 slices deli honey ham (8 ounces)
- 4 slices Swiss cheese (1/2 ounce each), halved
- 4 slices Gruyère cheese (1/2 ounce each), halved
- 1 tablespoon salted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat Oven and Prep Croissants
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut the croissants in half crosswise and arrange them, cut side up, on the prepared baking sheet.
Add Dijon to Each Half
Evenly spread 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard on each cut side of the croissant halves.
Stack with Ham and Cheese
On the bottom halves, place a slice of honey ham and half a slice each of Swiss and Gruyère cheese. Top with the remaining croissant halves to form sandwiches.
Brush with Garlic Butter
In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter and garlic powder. Microwave on HIGH until the butter is melted and sizzling, about 20 seconds. Brush the tops of the croissants with the melted garlic butter.
Bake Until Melted and Flaky
Bake the croissants in the preheated oven until the cheese is melted and the croissants are golden and flaky, roughly 10 minutes. Serve them immediately for best results.
