Jimmy Dean Sausage Dip

This is the dip that disappears at every party - creamy, spicy, and perfect with tortilla chips. I always make a batch when I need something that feeds a crowd without much effort.

Ingredients

Ingredients (~6-8 servings)

  • 1 lb hot pork sausage, Jimmy Dean works great
  • 1 lb regular pork sausage, Jimmy Dean works great
  • 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp canned diced jalapeños with juice
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried chopped onion, optional

Instructions

  • Brown sausage in large pan over medium heat, crumbling into small pieces.
  • Drain excess grease after fully cooking.
  • Add cream cheese, sour cream, jalapeños, dried onion, and onion powder.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low and stir until cream cheese melts and mixture is smooth, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Serve hot with tortilla chips.

Notes

Refrigerate leftovers for 3-4 days. Reheat in microwave.
