Holiday Cheese Ball
This is the cheese ball that shows up at every family gathering - it's simple, feeds a crowd, and disappears fast. The pecans give it a nice crunch against all that creamy cheese.

8 oz, softened but still slightly firm

sour cream

shredded medium cheddar cheese

garlic powder

Black pepper to taste

pecans

Instructions
Combine cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper in a bowl.
Mix with electric mixer until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
Add shredded cheddar and mix until evenly distributed.
Chill mixture for 1 hour.
Use lightly greased hands to shape into a ball.
Roll ball in chopped pecans, pressing gently to coat.
Serve with crackers.
