Ingredients

  • 2.5 lbs chicken wings, avoid small wings
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon table salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 teaspoons neutral oil

Instructions

  • Pat chicken wings thoroughly dry.
  • Place wings in a large bowl; add salt, black pepper, oil, and half the baking powder. Mix well.
  • Add remaining baking powder and mix again to coat evenly.
  • Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange wings on the rack with space around each.
  • Preheat oven to 450°F. Bake wings for 30 minutes.
  • Flip wings and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
  • Optionally, toss in your favorite sauce before serving.
