Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (full-fat for the creamiest texture)
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (creamy, natural, no sugar added)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon table salt (optional)
  • 1–2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream (if needed)
  • Toppings: Chopped almonds, dark chocolate curls, drizzle of extra almond butter

Blend the Base

Add the cottage cheese, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and table salt to a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend on high for 30 to 60 seconds until it is completely smooth and creamy.

Adjust Consistency

If the mousse is too thick, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk or cream and blend again until it reaches your preferred texture.

Chill for Best Texture

Transfer the mousse to a bowl and refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes. This helps to set and deepen the flavors.

Serve & Garnish

Spoon the mousse into serving bowls and top with chopped almonds, dark chocolate curls, or a drizzle of extra almond butter.
