Ingredients (~6 servings)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp minced fresh parsley
- 3/4 Tbsp minced fresh chives
- 1 1/2 tsp minced fresh dill
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic (1 small clove)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Mix Everything Together
In a mixing bowl whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, parsley, chives, dill, garlic, salt and pepper.
The ranch powder tends to clump at first but keep whisking and it’ll smooth out.
Taste and adjust salt if needed – some folks like a bit more garlic too.
Let it Rest Before Serving
You can use this right away but it’s better after sitting in the fridge for ~30 minutes.
The herbs need time to release their flavor and the whole thing thickens up slightly.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Fresh Herb Ranch Dip
This is way better than the packet stuff and takes about the same amount of time to make. I always have sour cream on hand so this is my go-to dip when people are coming over.

- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp minced fresh parsley

- 1/2 tsp minced garlic, 1 small clove
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Instructions

- Whisk thoroughly until smooth and ingredients are well incorporated.
